At Journey Covenant, we serve in places other than our local church. We even serve in places where we don't speak the language!

Every Fall, for the last ten years, members of Journey Covenant have gone down to Mexico to build a house for a poor family. The trip takes five days - 2 for travel to and from Rocky Point, Mexico, and three to build the house.

The house isn't very complicated - it's a simple place with two rooms, a door that locks, windows that close, and a roof that doesn't leak. For some of the people we have built for, this is paradise.

We've also had a number of people go to Haiti to take part in medical missions.

They have gone down to the northwestern part of Haiti with the Northwest Haiti Christian Mission organization and taken care of some of the sick people in that area that don't have access to or money for any kind of medical care.

What makes out people do this? We love Jesus. Come and find out how you can be a part by joining us on Sunday morning at 10:30 AM.
