Jose Alers

Jose Alers is our Director of Youth Ministries here at Journey Covenant.

Jose and Jamie moved from Florida to Liberty, Missouri in July of 2011. Prior to serving at Journey Covenant, Jose and Jamie helped plant two churches in Florida, serving as Directors of Children's Ministry and core members of the launch teams. Their experience also includes leading an inner city ministry in Miami, Florida where they worked with children and youth, as well as serving in youth ministry in an organized church.

Jose is currently attending Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he is pursuing his B.A .in Biblical Studies. Jamie holds her B.S. in Christian Ministry from Hope International University.

Jose and Jamie are excited to be working with the youth of Journey Covenant Church.
