SERVE
SERVE
Serving is the final leg of the journey, but it is by no means an end to the journey. It is just another step towards Christ-likeness. At Journey Covenant, we participate in and organize service projects all over the world. We also serve our community right here in the Kansas City area. Service is not just in the community - we also serve the Lord in our own church in so many ways. From cleaning out the gutters to leading worship to changing a diaper in the nursery, we serve each other and the Lord. Not only do we serve, but we are part of a serving denomination, the Evangelical Covenant Church. Part of our offerings every month goes towards service in our denomination.
We believe that anyone can serve the Lord and serve the church, but service comes out of being in close relationship to God. Therefore, we have defined a path towards Christ-likeness that starts with Worship, continues by joining a Journey Group, and through the group, coming into a serving heart. Come serve with us. It all starts on Sunday morning at 10:30 AM. Begin the journey.
